Hazelwood School District parents have come together to form the HSD Parent Advisory Committee.

Their mission is:

Work toward understanding, respecting and supporting all children with disabilities in our community and ensuring that they receive an appropriate education.

Provide a network of support for parents including access to relevant information.

Encourage an atmosphere of open communication, understanding and mutual respect among all students, parents, HSD staff and the Hazelwood community.

Collaborate with the parent-teacher groups, school councils and other school organizations toward the betterment of education in Hazelwood.

Their vision is:

Hazelwood School District and Special School District collaborating effectively to the degree that as partner districts we become seamless in our efforts for the educational benefit of all of our students.
